Our client is seeking for a gardener to be based at a Catholic College in Bedford. Our client specialises in the maintenance, presentation and asset management of Open Space and Grounds environments that people rely on every day.
Working hours:
6:00 AM- 2:00 PM (Summer)
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Winter)
Pay rates: $ 32.61
Key responsibilities:
- Blow down and clean pathways throughout the school grounds.
- Maintain a tidy and safe environment by cleaning and organising outdoor areas across the school.
- Perform raking, mulching, pruning, and hedge trimming as required.
- Clear pathways and access areas to ensure safe pedestrian movement.
- Operate whipper snippers and other hand-held gardening equipment.
- Assist with general grounds maintenance and presentation.
- Work collaboratively as part of the school’s gardening team, integrating smoothly with existing staff to complete daily tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Possess a horticulture certificate
- Have own car and driver's licence to commute to work
